Scenic Commercial Roofing will schedule an initial inspection when the Maintenance Agreement is purchased. Scenic Commercial Roofing will afterward inspect your roof in the spring to make sure that it has fared well throughout the winter, as well as in the fall to ensure that it is watertight and ready to withstand those cold and wet winter days. Inspections shall occur during October and March of each calendar year through the agreed-upon period. The Maintenance Agreement will extend from the date purchased until that same day the following year for each year purchased. The contractor and/or Client have the right to cancel services at any time, prior to 7 days in advance of the next scheduled inspection, with a written notice to the other party. A prorated refund will be given for the remaining un-serviced period purchased.
Understanding what is going on with your roof to help with future budgeting, is essential. With our comprehensive roof report, it will be easy to track potential problem areas. Our report will offer suggestions on what needs to be done immediately, and what could become an issue in the future if not resolved.
Time and again, we encounter clogged gutters and drains that lead to ponding water. When water begins to hold on your roof, it breaks down seams and sealants which will lead to significant leaks. With your Preventative Maintenance Program, we will remove loose debris from the roof such as broken limbs, leaves, and other debris, etc.
We will perform a thorough inspection to ensure that we spot everything, from curb work to skylights and everything in between. If you have deteriorated membrane or metal work, we will identify the area and report it back to you in our comprehensive report. If the inspection 1 identifies repair work beyond the scope of the agreement due to third-party damage or force majeure (“Acts of God” to include wind-blown debris, environmental contamination, hail, tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes, flooding, fire, vandalism, pest infestation, and animal induced damages), a detailed proposal will be provided and agreed upon before any work commences on the needed repairs.
If any issues are found, we can complete any necessary work that you approve. Under your Preventative Maintenance Program, a discount will be offered, be it on a roof replacement or a minor repair.
